Max/Msp-Processing connection
This section contains two videos showing the connection between MotionViewer, Max/Msp and Processing.
We feed the Motion Viewer data to Max MSP so to map the parameters we need. Next, we connect Max MSP with Processing to trigger code and manipulate the visual output as a response to the body movement. In the first example, we trigger the parameter of oscillation for the grid shapes. If the rate exceeds 70, the shapes transform from rectangles to ellipses.
In the second example Max/Msp retrieves the X and Y coordinates of the sensor fixed to the right forearm of the performer. We can then track the forearm's position on the stage, sending these values to a Processing sketch that draws its trajectory on a X-Y plane.
